I'm a former teacher who left the classroom in October 2022 (after one too many car park crying sessions) and built a fully-booked VA business within 2.5 months.
Now I run a multi-award winning VA agency with my husband Luke, work with dream clients on my terms, and help VAs build businesses that actually give them the freedom they're after.
This retreat brings together everything I wish someone had given me space to figure out when I was starting out.

Gentle morning yoga to start your day grounded, plus optional evening sessions. No experience needed – just come as you are.

The VENUE
Nestled in the serene Welsh countryside, our Howey retreat house offers the perfect blend of comfort and privacy for our intimate group.
With 360-degree countryside views, a peaceful lake, and beautiful communal spaces, you'll have everything you need to truly switch off and recharge.
Each of the 10 attendees will have their own private ensuite room, plus access to cosy sitting areas, a large open-plan dining space, and a stunning south-facing patio overlooking the lake.
The venue is exclusively ours for the weekend.
No other guests, just our small group of like-minded VAs.
How to get here
From the A483, turn off at Howey village following signs for "Three Wells B&B / Acorn Court B&B". Follow the one-way New Row past the Drovers Arms pub, then take the last right onto Chapel Road. Continue for about a mile until you see the white Three Wells sign, turn right over the cattle grid, and you'll find us on the left with the lake on your right. Parking available on site.

The venue is Three Wells Hotel in Howey, Wales, postcode: LD1 5PP.
By Train
The nearest station is Llandrindod Wells on the Heart of Wales line. A taxi from the station costs around £5, we can help arrange this for you.
Llandrindod Wells connects via Shrewsbury (for London Euston, Birmingham, Manchester) or Swansea (for Cardiff, London Paddington).
The FAQs
We don’t offer refunds, but we get that life happens. If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or colleague. Just let us know as soon as possible so we can update the booking and make sure they receive all the pre-retreat info.
Absolutely. All meals are prepared fresh on-site, and we’re happy to cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other dietary needs. Just let us know when you apply and we’ll make sure you’re looked after.
Pack your laptop and a notebook for the strategy sessions, comfy clothes for relaxing, something you can move in for yoga (nothing fancy, leggings and a t-shirt are perfect), walking shoes for exploring the grounds, and two outfits for your brand photoshoot. We’ll send a full packing list closer to the date, but that’s the essentials.
Yes, there’s wifi at the venue. While we’d love for you to fully switch off, we know that’s not always realistic when you run a business. There’ll be downtime built into the schedule if you need to check in on anything urgent, just try not to spend the whole weekend in your inbox!
Most people won’t! That’s part of the magic. You’ll arrive as strangers and leave with genuine connections, the kind that come from four days of real conversations, shared meals, and supporting each other through the workshops. Every single person in that room will be a VA who gets what you’re going through. You’ll find your people.
Completely okay. You don’t need any experience, flexibility, or fancy gear. The sessions with Nicole are gentle and accessible, it’s about moving your body and starting the day grounded, not perfecting any poses. If downward dog isn’t your thing, that’s fine. Show up as you are.
Arrivals start from 2pm on Friday, and checkout is at 11am on Monday. If you’d like to extend your stay either side of the retreat, you’re welcome to arrange that directly with the venue, just note that any additional nights would be at your own cost.
The retreat is in Howey, Wales. If you’re driving, there’s parking at the venue. If you’re coming by train, the nearest station is Llandrindod Wells — a taxi from there to the retreat is only about £5. We can also help coordinate carpooling with other attendees if that’s useful. Full directions will be sent once your place is confirmed.
This is an application-only retreat to ensure the group feels aligned and supportive for everyone.
